Here's one for today. Helicopter parents are something I've been reading a lot about in the HR world. There's a story in the Atlanta Journal Constitution about them today.
This is really scary. Seeking parents' input is one thing, but bringing them to a job interview is an entirely different request.

See, on the one hand, this is really sad/pathetic. It's definately another example I'll file away under my we-are-becoming-weaker theory.
On the other hand, I want to encourage this type of thing. Simply because when one of these idiots is sitting across from me in a meeting it will be THAT much easier (and accordingly more fun) to crush them. Maybe I shouldn't enjoy making grown-ups cry... nah, I'm okay with it.
I have seen it... it is weird!
