I've seen something like this before, but this is a more detailed explanation about why men don't listen to women. Interesting.

i think that they just tune out nagging. i think its an automatic instinctual thing to tune us out. its INSTINCT to turn the tv up when we're talking to them. but their brains are different physically so i'm really not surprised.
