Not the store.
OK, so this is what greeted the workers at 1805 Old Alabama Road on Tuesday morning. There are so many stories that could go along with this image. Drunk is what most of us suspect. But this is one serious partier, since the car still smelled like burning oil when I arrived at 8:15 am.
The car is still there. No one has claimed it, or had it towed. Also, it turns out there are some strict laws governing the removal of cars from private property if there is not a "No Parking" sign. Nevermind that in this instance, the car is parked no less than 30 YARDS from the closest parking lot. Judging from the tire marks from said parking lot, this person almost went into the water 2 times previous to this lovely stall. With all the rain we had Monday night, I'm really surprised the car didn't slide right down the hill.
Today, there was a sign on it - "For Sale - CHEAP."
So, after one realizes one can't back one's car up the hill, does one
a) get out and walk calmly away?
b) get out and call a cab?
c) get out a call a friend?
d) run/stumble away and not remember where the car is?
I mean, who/where the hell is this person? So bleeping weird.
